Job summary

ProProcess is a specialist process engineering company seeking a Procurement & Expediting Lead in Germiston, South Africa. You will manage a combined procurement administration and expediting team, ensuring requisitions are entered into ERP, issued to market, and followed through with supplier acknowledgements, vendor docs and invoices.

You will allocate work, monitor delivery dates and escalate risks to protect project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level not required but strong procurement admin and expediting background is key.
• Experience in project-based engineering, fabrication or construction environments is advantageous.
• ERP/PO workflow, supplier docs, delivery tracking and invoice coordination skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and allocate procurement and expediting work across the team.
• Ensure approved PO requisitions are entered into ERP and issued to market.
• Track supplier acknowledgements, vendor documentation and invoices; update delivery commitments.
• Escalate risks that threaten project delivery and communicate updates to project teams.
• Maintain accurate ERP records, follow up on overdue actions and monitor KPI performance.
