Key Responsibilities

Lead the process engineering team on assigned projects, ensuring technical quality, efficiency, and compliance with project requirements.

Develop and review process deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, process datasheets, and design calculations.

Perform Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) sizing and ensure system compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Conduct Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) and support process safety studies (HAZOP, LOPA, etc.).

Provide technical input during project design reviews, vendor package evaluations, and construction / commissioning activities.

Ensure adherence to client specifications, regulatory requirements, and best engineering practices.

Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and project management disciplines.

Take ownership of technical decisions and provide clear communication to clients and project stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (BEng).

Minimum 10 years of EPCM experience in process design and engineering for chemical, petrochemical, or related industries.

Proven experience with gas handling systems and processes involving flammable or toxic substances.

Demonstrated experience in PRV sizing and Hazardous Area Classification.

Minimum 3 years of experience as Lead Process Engineer on medium to large-scale projects.

Knowledge of isotopes, fluorinated compounds, or nuclear-related substances will be considered an advantage.
