Job summary

Cytel Inc. is seeking a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer to work remotely on sponsor-dedicated clinical development projects.

You will implement SDTM/ADaM specifications, develop SAS and R programs, and oversee CRO contributions to ensure high-quality data delivery for regulatory submissions. The role requires 7+ years in biostatistics programming, strong CDISC expertise, and the ability to work independently with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or statistics (preferred)
• 7+ years as a Statistical Programmer in biostatistics/clinical development
• Exceptional SAS programming skills for clinical data analysis and reporting
• Extensive CDISC standards experience (SDTM, ADaM, Define.xml) and regulatory submission exposure
• Strong independence, initiative, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM and ADaM specifications, datasets, and define.xml for multiple studies
• Develop SAS programs to create datasets, listings, tables, and graphs
• Deliver high-quality programming outputs and validate SAS/R programs for clinical programs
• Oversee CRO programming deliverables to meet timelines
• Support preparation of regulatory submissions, DSURs, publications, and exploratory analyses
• Follow FDA regulations, GCP, and electronic submission guidelines
• Contribute to standards development for programming tools and macros
• Develop CRFs, edit checks, and data validation plans
• Provide data transfer specifications for external vendors
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to ensure project timelines
