Job summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd in Gauteng seeks a legal/commercial specialist to provide claims advisory on power purchase agreements (PPAs) and related contracts. Based in Simmerpan - Germiston, you will interpret contracts, advise the Programme Development department, and support external legal consultants while ensuring robust contract management.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or BTech in Law/Commerce/Quantity Surveying (NQF7, 360 credits).
Minimum 5 years experience in electrical utility industry with contract claims management.
Experience with power purchase agreements (PPAs) and claims management.
Ability to interpret contracts and advise on related agreements.

Responsibilities

Provide claims advisory management service for PPA related claims.
Advice on contract interpretation for power purchase and other related agreements.
Provide advice to the Programme Development department.
Support the department on external legal consultant service appointments and manage contracts.
Establish an effective recordkeeping and reporting system.
