Job summary

Pargo in Cape Town is hiring a Software Engineer to help build our e-commerce delivery platform. You will contribute to core features, APIs, and scalable services, from design to deployment, while measuring impact on business metrics.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in modern web development, strong PHP/Laravel experience, and hands-on work with PostgreSQL/MySQL, Docker/Kubernetes, Git, and cloud-ready workflows. Hybrid work in Gardens, Cape Town is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years professional software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong PHP experience with Laravel preferred.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and relational databases.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD basics.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
