Qualifications

  • 5+ years' payroll administration experience (end-to-end).
  • Strong knowledge of tax submissions (EMP, EMP, IRP5s, ROE, etc.).
  • Experience with employment contracts & HR / payroll practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
  • Process salaries, bonuses, deductions, overtime, and leave.
  • Reconcile time & attendance, manage employee benefits, and ensure compliance with statutory payments.

Decofurn Furniture, one of South Africa's fastest-growing furniture retailers with 11+ stores nationwide and a thriving online presence, is looking for aSenior Payroll Administratorto join our team.In this role, you'll oversee and manage the full payroll function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while leading process improvements and supporting both employees and management.What You'll DoManage end-to-end payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timely paymentsProcess salaries, bonuses, deductions, overtime, and leaveReconcile time & attendance, manage employee benefits (pension & risk), and ensure compliance with statutory paymentsPrepare, audit, and reconcile payroll reports, highlighting discrepancies and resolving issuesAct as the go-to person for payroll queries and provide clear guidance to employeesMaintain and improve payroll systems, documentation, and proceduresSupervise and support the junior payroll administratorWhat You BringGrade 12 or equivalent5+ years' payroll administration experience (end-to-end)Payroll diploma / degree (essential)Strong knowledge of tax submissions (EMP, EMP, IRP5s, ROE, etc.)Experience with employment contracts & HR / payroll practicesProficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook (intermediate to advanced)Sage Payroll experience – highly advantageousExcellent numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of current SARS, Department of Labour, and Home Affairs legislation – advantageousWhy Join Decofurn Furniture?
