Job summary

FirstRand Bank India is seeking a Hello Future Product Specialist to guide frontline teams and clients in payments, aligning initiatives with business objectives and customer needs. You will collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups to deliver scalable payment capabilities while maintaining regulatory compliance and system reliability.

The role requires we navigate complex payments environments, translate strategy into executable outcomes, and drive continuous improvement in payment

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 - Required
• 3 Year industry related degree – Preferred
• 6 - 8 Years banking experience and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Proven stakeholder management experience

Responsibilities

• Navigate a complex payments environment, delivering solutions that meet business, regulatory and scheme requirements while keeping systems stable and dependable.
• Collaborate across architects, developers, operations teams, business teams, scheme representatives, SMEs and project managers to ensure aligned and effective delivery of payment capabilities.
• Maintain deep domain expertise in payments, translating changes into actionable product and platform impacts.
• Translate strategic direction into executable outcomes, driving initiatives that enable capability uplift, platform scalability and improved customer and operational outcomes.
• Define and document high-quality requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment to business intent and technical implementation, while managing risk and audit considerations.
• Analyse data and operational performance to identify trends, issues and opportunities to improve payment flows and system efficiency.
• Engage with industry developments to keep platforms competitive, compliant and future-fit.
• Drive continuous improvement of payment capabilities, including processes, integration points and services.
• Operate effectively in a delivery-focused environment, balancing priorities and stakeholders for successful execution.
• Take ownership of your own development in payments, platform thinking and product capability management.
