Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the day-to-day operations of multiple energy generation facilities.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize efficiency, reliability, and energy output.
• Oversee all maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Manage operational budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of plant managers, engineers, and technicians.
• Monitor plant performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions to optimize operations.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Oversee asset management and capital expenditure planning for operational upgrades and replacements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and reduce environmental impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical preferred) or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in operations management within the power generation or energy infrastructure sector.
• Proven experience managing complex, large-scale operational facilities, ideally including renewable energy assets.
• Strong knowledge of power plant operations, maintenance strategies, and technologies (e.g., gas turbines, solar PV, wind farms).
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent financial acumen, with experience in budget management and cost control.
• In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations relevant to the energy industry.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in relevant operational management software and systems.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage responsibilities effectively in a remote setting.
