The Role: Senior Network & IT Support Technician

You’ll take ownership of the technical environment in Gauteng, supporting the setup, installation, and maintenance of IoT and network systems for regional clients. This is a hands‑on, senior‑level role suited to someone who thrives in a self‑managed, remote setup while ensuring reliable system performance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and support of all client systems in the region
  • Manage network configurations, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and perform system diagnostics
  • Liaise with the scheduling team to plan site visits, maintenance, and client support activities
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation of call cycles and site visits
  • Provide remote support to clients and internal teams when required
  • Ensure system uptime and proactively identify technical risks or performance issues
About You
  • 5+ years of experience in IT or network support (field or remote)
  • Strong troubleshooting, hardware, and IoT systems background
  • Confident working independently and managing priorities remotely
  • Valid drivers license (essential) company vehicle provided for installations
  • Excellent communication skills and a practical, reliable work ethic
  • Comfortable with Google Workspace and reporting tools
  • South African citizen with a clear criminal record
