Senior Networking Engineer

As a Senior Networking Engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures for a wide range of clients.

This is a strategic, hands‑on role ideal for someone passionate about network architecture, cybersecurity, and innovation in the MSP space.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage robust network solutions (LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless).
• Lead infrastructure projects from planning through to post‑deployment support.
• Configure and optimize network equipment (firewalls, routers, switches) across client sites.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure best‑practice security enforcement.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues in diverse client environments.
• Monitor and analyze traffic to detect threats and ensure secure connectivity.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide leadership in network strategy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network designs, changes, and configurations.
• Keep up‑to‑date with the latest developments in networking technologies and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of hands‑on network engineering experience (MSP experience a strong plus).
• Advanced expertise with Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent enterprise network platforms.
• Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and performance tools.
• Strong grasp of network security principles and implementation.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent industry credentials.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively.
