NET Developer.The Transversal Application Services (TAPS) unit falls under the Centre for e-Innovation (Ce-I) at Western Cape Government.
The mandate of TAPS is to develop transversal applications, including WCG mobile platform applications and digital platforms for citizen engagement.
TAPS helps to deliver service delivery excellence through information and communication technologies which is a core function of Ce-I.
The role of the Senior Developer encompasses many activities including (but not limited to) : Pair with other developers and learn the software development process and life cycle;Construct and implement application solutions;Construct / develop programs including coding, testing and debugging using modern development tools / cloud services and logic apps;Ensure documentation of code / classes;Design application prototypes;Indicate program unit structure;Focus on depth of knowledge and expertise in a certain language, tool set and area of the stack; andAssist senior developers and technicians in their relative job functionRelevant Tertiary qualifications and / or applicable courses;andMinimum 6 years' experience in a Microsoft Intermediate .
