Job summary

Zensar Technologies in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to build scalable, secure applications using C#, Azure and modern engineering practices. You will contribute across backend, frontend, cloud services, containers and DevOps, delivering measurable technical impact.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, Azure-based delivery, and full lifecycle involvement from design through deployment, with a strong focus on security and performance.

Qualifications

• 6–7+ years’ experience in .NET development.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#.
• Practical experience building and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Solid understanding of cloud security concepts, including managed identities and Key Vault.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as ARM, Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.
• Strong containerisation experience using Docker.
• Commercial experience with Angular and/or React.
• Intermediate knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript and jQuery.
• Exposure to event-driven development and MS SQL Server.
