Qualifications

Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a significant focus on mobile game development.
A strong portfolio showcasing innovative and effective game UI/UX is essential.
Expert proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and interaction design.
Experience with prototyping tools and methods.
Knowledge of mobile game mechanics and player behavior.
Excellent visual design skills, including layout, typography, and color theory.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects.
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of user interfaces and user experiences for mobile games.
Conduct user research, create personas, and map user journeys to identify player needs and pain points.
Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and developers to ensure UI/UX goals are met.
Establish and maintain design guidelines and style guides for UI elements.
Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback and data analysis.
Stay abreast of the latest trends in mobile UI/UX design and the gaming industry.
Mentor junior UI/UX designers and contribute to the overall design strategy.
Ensure designs are optimized for various mobile devices and screen resolutions.
