Placements24 in Centurion, Gauteng, is seeking a Senior Game Producer to lead mobile title development from concept through live operations. You will steer cross-functional teams across design, art, engineering, and QA, ensure on-time delivery, and drive monetization and player engagement strategies in a fast-paced studio.

The role demands a strong track record shipping mobile games, deep market understanding, and exceptional leadership.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in game production, with at least 5 years focused on mobile game development.
Proven track record of shipping multiple mobile titles.
Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Confluence.
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee the entire game development lifecycle for mobile titles, from pre-production to live operations.
Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets and resource allocation.
Lead and motivate cross-functional development teams (art, design, engineering, QA).
Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members and across departments.
Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing roadblocks.
Ensure the quality and timely release of game updates and new features.
Track project progress and provide regular status updates to senior management.
Champion best practices in game development and production methodologies.
Conduct post-launch analysis and guide live operations strategies.
