Placements24 is seeking a Senior Mobile Application Developer to design, build, test, and deploy high-quality mobile apps for iOS and Android in Randburg, Gauteng. The role offers hybrid working options with a modern office and close collaboration with design, product, and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mobile development, proficiency in Swift/Objective-C and Kotlin/Java, and a strong UI/UX sense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• Proven experience developing native iOS applications using Swift or Objective-C.
• Proven experience developing native Android applications using Kotlin or Java.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
• Experience with mobile development frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and mobile backend services.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mobile application features and user stories.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Implement and manage mobile application backend services and APIs.
• Optimize mobile applications for performance, scalability, and user experience.
