Partner Company in South Africa is seeking a Senior Technical Trainer — Machine Learning for a remote freelance role. You will design and deliver technical courses for engineers, guiding learners from core ML concepts to building and evaluating models through practical labs and video tutorials.

The position emphasizes teaching and content creation over production tasks, with an initial three-month project and flexible hours. Potential for more projects or a full-time opportunity.

Formación

• Hands-on ML experience with training/evaluation/deployment
• Strong ability to explain ML concepts to engineers new to the field
• Excellent written and spoken English for scripting, narration and on-camera delivery
• Genuine passion for teaching and knowledge-sharing
• Active interest in ML developments and continual learning
• Comfort presenting technical material on camera and engaging audiences
• Open to feedback and following established teaching methodologies
• Experience creating educational content on platforms or publishing books or teaching at institutions (preferred)
• Practical knowledge of fine-tuning, MLOps, or deploying ML models in production (preferred)
• Cloud ML certifications related to AWS, Azure, GCP, or Databricks (preferred)

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop course content with structure, lessons, labs, and notebooks to support progressive learning
• Create hands-on learning experiences; write lab specs and test environments for the lab development team
• Write engaging educational scripts; produce 6-minute video lessons for engineers
• Deliver technical presentations; narrate lessons and record lab walkthroughs
• Apply practical ML expertise by building course material grounded in real training/evaluation/deployment
• Incorporate editorial feedback and refine content to meet quality standards
• Collaborate remotely with curriculum and production teams via weekly syncs and Slack
• Focus on teaching content while production handles video editing, animation, and publishing
