Job summary

Together Staffing group in South Africa seeks a Mine Overseer for a key underground operation in the Northern Cape. You must hold a Mine Overseers Certificate of Competency, with a Blasting Certificate or Rock breaking qualification as alternative, and a Matric.

A total of 10 years in mining, including at least 5 years at mine overseer level, is required. Experience with trackless mining (Bord & Pillar) is essential as you will oversee safety, production targets and daily underground activities

Qualifications

• Matric required (National Senior Certificate)
• Mine Overseers Certificate of Competency required
• Blasting Certificate or National Certificate Rock breaking Underground Hard Rock Level 3 required
• 10 years in mining with at least 5 years at mine overseer level
