Job description
The Opportunity

Shape the future of healthcare consulting with your expert technical insight. Is this you?

You're deeply technical, meticulous, and thrive on dissecting complex healthcare structures.

You know medical schemes inside and out and love translating that expertise into smart, actionable strategies for clients.

Presenting to C-suites doesn't intimidate you, in fact, you thrive when educating decision-makers on the shifting healthcare landscape.

You're client-centric, calm under pressure, and committed to service excellence over sales targets.

What you''ll be doing

You''ll lead the charge on high-level consulting across a portfolio of corporate clients, offering in-depth analysis of medical scheme structures, plan options, utilisation trends, gap cover, MSA components and industry developments.

You''ll run educational workshops for HR leaders, deliver strategic presentations to executive teams, and tailor healthcare strategies for varied demographics.

You''ll be at the forefront of advising on NHI and healthcare economics, driving retention and satisfaction across your portfolio.

No sales or people management, just pure technical consulting.

And if you excel, there''s clear potential for this role to evolve into a Consulting Manager position as part of the company''s succession planning.

Where you''ll be doing it

Join a respected player in the financial services space, known for its independent advisory model and commitment to customised client solutions.

Based in Bryanston, Johannesburg, the business operates nationally, with a strong technical team, collaborative culture, and a track record of long-term client relationships.

Innovation, integrity, and continuous learning are at the heart of everything they do.

What you''ll need

You must hold a minimum NQF5 qualification in Financial Planning or Wealth Management, RE5 certification, and have completed the Class of Business in Healthcare / Medical Aid; these are non-negotiables.

A strong technical foundation in employee benefits, especially healthcare consulting, is critical.

You're confident presenting to executives and understand how to craft client-specific, data-driven medical aid strategies.

What you''ll get

A market-related basic salary with an annual bonus structure (no commission pressure), plus compulsory medical aid and pension benefits.

You'll be supported by a well-structured team that values deep expertise over aggressive sales, and a business that invests in your ongoing professional development.
