Qualifications

• Qualified in Beauty Therapy or Medical Aesthetics.
• At least 5 years as Medical Aesthetician with 3+ years using laser/energy devices.
• Experience operating aesthetic lasers (IPL, Nd:YAG, Diode) and related tech.
• Solid knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology and safety procedures.

About the Role

Our client, a premier clinic in the Beauty & Wellness sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Aesthetician and Laser Technician for their facility in **Soweto, Gauteng, ZA**. The Senior Medical Aesthetician will be responsible for performing a wide range of treatments, from rejuvenating facials to laser hair removal and skin resurfacing. You will conduct thorough client assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and ensure the highest standards of safety and client care. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of medical aesthetic treatments, including advanced facials, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion.

Requirements

• A recognized qualification in Beauty Therapy or Medical Aesthetics.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Aesthetician, with at least 3 years specializing in laser and energy-based device treatments.
• Proven expertise in operating various types of aesthetic lasers (e.g., IPL, Nd:YAG, Diode) and other advanced technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, and common dermatological conditions.
• Excellent understanding of laser physics, light-tissue interactions, and safety procedures.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and client consultation skills.
• Ability to manage client schedules and treatment plans efficiently.
