A leading global testing and certification company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to produce cost-effective and technically sound designs. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 25 years of experience in the EPC/EPCM environment, preferably in the mining or petrochemical sector. The role involves managing project deliverables while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Applicants must hold relevant engineering degrees and preferably be registered with ECSA.

Qualifications

• B. Sc/B. Eng. or B. Tech (Mechanical) graduate, preferably registered with ECSA as a professional engineer.
• A proven track record of 5 to 25 years' proven experience executing projects in the EPC/EPCM environment.
• Experience with a wide range of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, crushers, screens, pumps, cranes.

Responsibilities

• Produce cost-effective and technically sound mechanical designs.
• Manage and control project deliverables within budget and schedule.
• Generate technical specifications and maintain communication with suppliers.
