Job summary

A leading energy solutions company in Pretoria is seeking a Senior Design Draughtsman – Mechanical to design and develop drawings for various mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have a draughting certificate and at least 5 years of experience, along with proficiency in Inventor and AutoCAD. This role provides opportunities for growth into managerial positions within an expanding department. A driver’s license is required, and occasional travel will be needed.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience, 10 years preferable.
• Good understanding of mechanical fabrication and joining processes.
• Experience in sheetmetal, piping fabrication, and mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop drawings for mechanical systems and structures.
• Complete basic engineering calculations.
• Work with design engineers and project managers.
