Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in mechanical design engineering, automotive focus.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (CATIA/SolidWorks/AutoCAD) and CAE tools (ANSYS/Abaqus).
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (injection molding, stamping, casting, machining).
• Experience with product development methodologies and DFM/DFA principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and development of complex mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software.
• Perform stress, thermal, and vibration analyses to validate designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of intricate mechanical components and assemblies using advanced CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks).

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.


• Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including 3D models, 2D drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and technical specifications.


• Identify and implement innovative design solutions to improve product performance, reduce costs, and enhance manufacturability.


• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to support team development.


• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing technologies.


• Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring alignment with project objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.


• A Master's degree is a plus.


• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in mechanical design engineering, with a significant focus on automotive systems.


• Proven proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., CATIA V5/V6, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and CAE tools for simulation (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).


• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, casting, and machining.


• Experience with product development methodologies and DFM/DFA principles.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
