The ideal candidate has 5+ years of licensed experience, ITEC/IICT-level qualification, and mastery of modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, with strong anatomy knowledge and client-centred

Qualifications

• Qualification from an accredited massage therapy school (ITEC, IICT, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a licensed massage therapist.
• Proficiency in a wide array of massage modalities and bodywork techniques.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology.
• Excellent palpation skills and the ability to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive range of therapeutic massage and bodywork techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial release and trigger point therapy.
• Conduct client assessments to understand health history, pain points and therapeutic goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with other wellness professionals.
• Educate clients on benefits of massage therapy and provide self-care recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records documenting treatments and progress.
