About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Massage Therapist to join their established wellness center in Midrand . You will be responsible for providing a range of therapeutic massage services to a diverse clientele, focusing on client well-being and recovery. This role requires a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques. You will play a key part in client consultations, developing personalized treatment plans, and ensuring a serene and professional client experience within a supportive team environment dedicated to promoting health and relaxation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and aromatherapy, tailoring treatments to individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough client consultations to assess needs, medical history, and contraindications prior to each session.
• Develop and recommend personalized treatment plans to address client goals, such as pain relief, stress reduction, or improved mobility.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment notes and progress updates.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care strategies.
• Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and professional conduct in the treatment room and throughout the facility.

Requirements

• A recognized qualification in Massage Therapy or equivalent, with current professional accreditation.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Massage Therapist , with demonstrated expertise in multiple modalities.
• In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within a clinical setting.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends, to accommodate client schedules.
