Job description

The Marketing Manager will manage the marketing department and develop and implement integrated, strategically aligned marketing solutions across the company and various business units. The Marketing Manager will provide specialist marketing advice to stakeholders and is responsible for managing, coordinating, and coaching the marketing team. The Marketing Manager will report to the CEO.

Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant Bachelor's Degree/Diploma: BCom in Marketing/Communications, Business Science with Honors in Marketing, or similar degree.

Experience: 6 - 8 years in marketing or industry experience in a similar role. Experience in the Healthcare industry is mandatory.

Skills required:

  • Ability to strategize and think creatively outside the box.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok) and Facebook Ad Manager.
  • Experience with platforms such as Monday.com & Hootsuite.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a broad range of tasks.
  • Attention to detail.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Overall responsibility for all marketing activities.
  • Manage the brand, brand positioning, and corporate identity.
  • Enhance the company's image in all interactions with stakeholders.
  • Manage communication to stakeholders and customers to ensure professionalism and consistency.
  • Manage the marketing budget and collaborate with Business/Product Managers.
  • Approve all marketing documentation to ensure consistency with CI and marketing strategy.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers such as graphic designers, SEO & Google AdWords partners, printers, promotional companies, etc.
  • Manage the company's website updates and communication of products/services.
  • Oversee Google AdWords, Google Analytics, SEO, and social media platforms.
  • Create leveraged marketing strategies and customer journeys for all products/services.
  • Implement and review marketing systems, policies, and practices.
  • Report on key business metrics.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and legislation.

Management of the Marketing Team:

  • Manage the marketing employees (3 people).
  • Cultivate creativity and innovation, providing guidance and coaching.
  • Motivate, challenge, and support the team.
  • Ensure team has strong product and technical knowledge.
  • Clarify roles, conduct performance reviews, and set KPIs.

Cross-Divisional Work:

  • Collaborate with the Commercial Team to develop aligned marketing strategies.
  • Ensure implementation of marketing campaigns and activities.
  • Support the launch of new products/services with marketing strategies and materials.
  • Ensure campaigns meet profit and strategic objectives, creating value for customers and shareholders.
  • Monitor, measure, and report on marketing success, taking corrective actions as needed.
