Overview

Job description with responsibilities and qualifications focused on marketing activities across PR, events, influencers and customer engagement. This role involves coordinating seasonal briefs, managing briefs, media planning, ideation of brand events, and managing internal and external brand communications.



Responsibilities


  • Input into the overall marketing strategy with a specific focus on PR, EVENTS, INFLUENCERS, and CUSTOMER.

  • Seasonal brief coordination for the brand.

  • Management and coordination of briefs.

  • Media plan, exposure and editorial coverage.

  • Ideation of brand-right events/concepts to grow exposure and equity in the market place.

  • Conceptualising, coordinating and executing events with the Brand Manager.

  • Management of internal and external brand PR channels – LinkedIn and others.

  • Key liaison with the Markham merchandise team on product.

  • Internal brand culture, communication plan and events.

  • Manage CSI for the brand with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Drive outside brand partnerships and opportunities.

  • Customer and market research to drive innovation and newness into the business and ensure we stay current.

  • Project management, invoice processing and budget tracking.



Qualifications and Experience


  • A marketing degree or diploma and ability to develop long-term marketing plans.

  • 4 to 6 years marketing experience.

  • A customer-obsessed mindset and Brand Love!

  • Up to date and on the pulse with the latest developments and trends in fashion, music and South African culture, and a love for fashion yourself.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills and an interest in Fashion.

  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics and reporting.

  • Understanding of marketing and consumer behavior insights.

  • Experience in managing brand CI and tone of voice.

  • Eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills.

  • Ability to make decisions, meet deadlines and be a results-driven individual who works well in a fast-paced, high-performance team without supervision.

  • Ability to influence and persuade at all levels.
