Flight Centre is looking for aMarketing Automation Senior Specialistto join our dynamic global marketing team.
As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, andoptimizingmarketing automation campaignsacross email,smsand app push,to drive customer engagement, lead generation and revenue growthfor Flight Centre Canada, while based in the Flight Centre South Africa head office.
You will leverageMartech platforms to create targeted, personalized campaigns across various channels,ensuringseamless integration with other marketing technologies and systems.
Develop and execute end-to-end marketing automation strategies acrossemail, SMS, and app push.
Build automated workflows, lead-nurture journeys, and segmentation programs that elevate customer engagement.
Implement lead scoring and personalisation tactics to improve conversion and retention.
Act as theSalesforce Marketing Cloudexpert, ensuring smooth operations of all automation tools.
Manage data integrity through list maintenance, segmentation, and cleansing.
Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with global data regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
Run A / B and multivariate tests to optimise messaging, content, CTAs, and user journeys.
Continuously analyse campaign performance to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Work closely with Martech, engineering, and data teams to ensure seamless integrations and platform enhancements.
Produce regular reports on campaign performance, KPIs, and ROI.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations that influence marketing strategy.
Present findings to stakeholders and leadership to drive informed, data-driven decisions.
3+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, etc.).
Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, and customer journey design.
Ability to interpret data, analyse trends, and transform insights into strategy.
Excellent project management and organisational abilities—able to run multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively across global teams and with external partners.
Solid business acumen and customer-centric mindset.
Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
Strong problem-solving skills and resilience under pressure.
Comfortable navigating change and contributing to continuous improvement.
