A leading telecommunications company in South Africa is seeking a Senior Manager for the Youth Segment. The successful candidate will develop and launch propositions tailored to the evolving needs of young people, with a focus on driving growth and brand affinity. The role requires 5-8 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and a strong understanding of market dynamics. This is a full-time position based in Gauteng with a hybrid work model.

TheSenior Manager Youth Segment,will support the General Manager : Pricing, Planning and Global Value propositions and will be fully accountable to achieve the following objectives :
Reignite brand relevance and affinity among Youth by addressing the disconnect between current offerings and evolving expectations.
Develop and launch youth-centric propositions across voice, data, digital, and fintech products, tailored to the diverse needs and behaviours of young people across MTN's footprint.
Drive base acceleration and digital adoption, contributing directly to MTN's commercial growth and long-term brand equity.
The successful candidate will :
Reposition MTN as the most admired and relevant brand among Africa's Youth.
Deliver measurable improvements in customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
Strengthen MTN's leadership in digital and fintech innovation, ensuring youth are at the centre of the Group's transformation journey.
Adhoc, operational and tactical meeting
Set up / participate in adhoc and operational meetings
Participate and provide input into tactical meetings
Report at process and functional level
Manage and resolve escalations that have impact on critical path of service delivery
Escalate issues that will result in significant time, scope, employee / customer or cost impacts if not resolved
Manage and provide solutions to issues that require formal resolution
Review performance against agreed KPIs and compliance to SLAs
Create and monitor plan for continuous improvement
Regularly review and provide performance updates of Opco's vs agreed KPIs
Report on a monthly basis to management relating to progress made within the sub-division and in accordance with the measurement metrics set by the organisation
Report on an ad hoc basis on specific projects as and when necessary
Manage sub-divisional budgets in line with business objectives
Manage project or initiative budgets in line with business objectives
