The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the efficient and effective delivery and operation of wholesale systems, with a significant focus on accurate and timely wholesale billing processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • System Delivery and Integration: Oversee end‑to‑end delivery, collaborate with teams, and manage vendor relationships.
  • System Implementation: Lead new system implementations, ensure proper configuration, and provide post‑implementation support.
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform maintenance and upgrades.
  • Billing and Invoicing: Manage accurate wholesale billing processes, perform reconciliations, and resolve billing issues.
  • Technology Management: Develop technology strategies, administer systems, and ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
  • Vendor and SLA Management: Manage vendor contracts, monitor SLAs, and foster strong vendor relationships.
  • Data Management: Oversee databases, conduct data analysis, and maintain data governance policies.
  • Customer Support: Serve as the main contact for clients, provide technical support, and gather feedback for system improvements.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of specialists, provide training and mentorship, and manage team performance.
Qualifications
  • Engineering or IT degree.
  • Master's degree is an added advantage.
Experience
  • Proven experience in system delivery and operations; extensive background in managing and deploying wholesale systems with a focus on accurate and efficient billing processes.
  • Experience in a wholesale environment with familiarity to the unique challenges and requirements of wholesale billing systems, including revenue assurance and billing accuracy practices.
  • Technical proficiency: Strong understanding and hands‑on experience with wholesale billing systems and related technologies, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
  • Project management skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives, particularly in the context of billing system enhancements and updates.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills: Expertise in diagnosing and resolving system issues efficiently, with a particular focus on billing discrepancies and revenue assurance.
  • Data security and regulatory compliance: Experience in implementing and maintaining data security protocols and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, especially in the context of billing and revenue data.
  • Team leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of specialists, particularly in the areas of billing accuracy and revenue assurance.
  • Stakeholder coordination: Experience in coordinating with various stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements and ensure alignment with business goals, with a strong emphasis on billing and revenue processes.
  • Budget management: Proficiency in managing system budgets, ensuring cost‑effective solutions and efficient resource allocation, particularly in relation to billing system improvements and maintenance.
  • Customer support: Ability to serve as the main contact for clients, providing technical support and gathering feedback for system improvements, with a focus on enhancing billing accuracy and resolving billing issues.
