Senior Manager: Commercial and Contracts South African National Parks

Location: Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria

Salary: R 1 115 100.00 – R 1 393 875.00 Per Annum

We require the services of a Senior Manager: Commercial and Contracts in the Commercial and Contracts Unit of the Legal Service Department. This position will be based at Groenkloof National Park, Pretoria.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and negotiate commercial contracts.
  • Develop, review business documents.
  • Conduct research and draft legal opinions.
  • Conduct contract and non‑compliance risk audits and provide reports and/or remedial action.
  • Monitor developments in law and advise management.
  • Resolve potential legal disputes and negotiate settlement terms.
  • Advise on alternative dispute resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide guidance and advice on the protection of SANParks intellectual property.
  • Manage external legal practitioners.
  • Lead, manage and develop the human capital of the Commercial and Contracts unit.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • LLB degree.

Experience
