Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce degree required.
• CIA and/or CA(SA) qualification required.
• Minimum 8 years in internal or external audit or related assurance fields, including 3–5 years in a management role.
• Experience with risk-based audit planning and QAIP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and quality review audit engagements to ensure compliance with approved methodologies and Global Internal Audit Standards.
• Provide technical guidance during audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
• Review audit reports for accuracy, clarity and actionable recommendations.
• Monitor implementation of audit findings and management action plans, including escalation of high-risk matters.
• Lead the QAIP, audit file reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage, coach, and develop internal audit staff to enhance performance.
• Oversee departmental administration, budgets, procurement, and records management.
