The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Siemens PLC programming and 10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment uptime, managing maintenance strategies, and leading a team of artisans and technicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in maintenance/automation in automotive manufacturing.
• At least 5 years' management experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel monthly to Eastern Cape plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Maintenance & Automation Department for 24/7 equipment availability.
• Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance of production assets.
• Provide hands-on support during breakdowns and maintain press tooling.
