Job summary

ARCS is seeking a Java/Spring/Angular specialist to design, develop, and deliver cloud-native, API-driven distributed systems. You will work in an Agile environment, using modern engineering practices and AI-assisted tooling to improve productivity and solution quality.

Ideal candidates bring 4–6 years of experience (intermediate) with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and API development, plus experience with enterprise apps and microservices architectures.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT degree or diploma in a related field.
• 4–6 years of software development experience (intermediate).
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and API development.
• Experience with enterprise applications and integrated solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based and modern software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Build scalable microservices and distributed systems using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Apply object-oriented analysis, design principles, and development patterns.
• Interpret UML diagrams and collaborate with architects, analysts, and teams.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and automated tests; support CI/CD.

Education

Relevant IT Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
