Job summary

ATS Client in Cape Town seeks a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with strong Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and AWS expertise. You will contribute to scalable, high-performance back-end systems and cloud-based integrations within a collaborative team.

The role focuses on delivering full-stack solutions, API design, and continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle in a Telco-related environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 minimum
• Relevant IT qualification preferred
• 4–5 years of full-stack development, project delivery and implementation experience in relevant technologies
• Experience in Telco OSS/BSS Billing systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain full-stack applications focusing on scalable back-end systems
• Design and implement APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Work with PostgreSQL, Kafka, and AWS for reliable, data-driven solutions
• Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality software aligned to business requirements
• Identify and resolve system issues to ensure optimal performance and stability
• Contribute to technical design, code reviews, and continuous improvement practices
