Overview

Are you passionate about technology, risk, and ensuring systems run securely and efficiently? A fast-paced, tech-driven organisation is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join their Internal Audit team.

In this role, youll plan, execute, and report on IT audits across a diverse group of entities-ensuring that IT risks are identified, controls are robust, and information assets are safeguarded. Youll play a key role in enhancing IT governance, cybersecurity, and data integrity across the business.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and perform risk-based IT audits on infrastructure, applications, and data processes
  • Assess IT general controls, cybersecurity, and vendor risk management practices
  • Evaluate system access, change management, and disaster recovery controls
  • Prepare insightful audit reports and present recommendations to senior management
  • Monitor action plans and follow-up on remediation progress
  • Stay current with emerging IT trends, frameworks, and threats
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 6 (minimum) 8 (ideal) years experience in IT auditing
  • CISA certification required
  • Solid understanding of IT frameworks (COBIT, NIST, ISO)
  • Strong grasp of ITGCs, cybersecurity, networks, databases, and cloud environments
  • Experience with audit tools (TeamMate+, Galvanize, IDEA) and data analytics beneficial
  • AI audit experience advantageous
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy
  • Confident communicator with the ability to simplify complex IT concepts
  • Strong stakeholder manager with high integrity and professional scepticism
  • Independent yet collaborative, with solid time management and multitasking skills
