A leading, high‑growth financial services firm specialising in investment operations is seeking a dedicated Investment Administrator to join our client's Investment Operations Department.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a high‑visibility role where your expertise will be essential to the accurate and efficient administration of complex investment portfolios. If you thrive on ensuring data integrity, managing complex transactions, and optimising workflows, this is your opportunity to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Mastery: Manage and accurately process all client investment transactions, including new investments, redemptions, transfers, and switches, ensuring timeliness.
  • Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform meticulous reconciliations of investment accounts, proactively resolve any discrepancies, and prepare accurate reports for clients and management.
  • Compliance & Risk: Ensure all activities strictly adhere to internal policies, focusing on identifying and mitigating operational risks and supporting compliance. Some understanding of South African financial regulations (FICA) is a bonus.
  • Process Optimisation: Play a key role in optimising operational processes by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance system efficiencies.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Provide exceptional support by liaising professionally with clients, financial advisors, and third‑party providers to address inquiries promptly.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment administration or a similar role within financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Basic or intermediate Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word skills.
