• Plan and scope internal audits with objectives, risks and approach.
• Lead audits across corporate functions and second-line activities.
• Assess governance, risk, compliance and policy controls for design and operating effectiveness.
• Stay updated on auditing best practices and relevant legislation.
• Oversee audit team to ensure quality, consistency and timely delivery.
• Review audit reports, action plans and remediation progress.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and Audit Committee.
• Coordinate with external auditors and other assurance providers.
• Support portfolio priorities and emerging risks in planning.
