Placements24 is seeking an experienced Intercity Courier Driver to transport high-value goods between major centers, starting from Stellenbosch. You will operate secure vehicles and follow strict security and safety protocols to ensure timely deliveries, maintaining professionalism and discretion.

The role requires driving long distances, excellent GPS navigation, and adherence to safety standards. Training on advanced security procedures is provided, with reimbursement of approved travel

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (Code 10 or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
• Experience in courier services, especially with high-value or secure transport.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness.
• Ability to handle demanding schedules and long-distance driving.
• Proficiency with GPS navigation and communication devices.
• Thorough understanding of transport security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate intercity transportation of high-value and sensitive goods.
• Ensure strict adherence to security protocols during transit and at delivery points.
• Maintain detailed logs of journeys, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
• Conduct regular security checks on the vehicle and cargo.
• Communicate proactively with the logistics and security teams regarding any deviations or incidents.
• Provide a professional and discreet service to clients upon delivery.
