Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Installation Engineer to lead complex installation projects for industrial equipment in Randburg and surrounding Gauteng regions. You will plan, coordinate and supervise all installation activities, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and top-quality execution.

The role requires extensive project management experience, strong leadership, and the ability to read intricate engineering drawings while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or relevant field) is required.
• Proven track record managing and executing industrial equipment installation projects.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute complex installation projects from start to finish.
• Provide technical leadership to installation teams on-site.
• Develop detailed installation plans, schedules and resource needs.
• Ensure installations meet design specs, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site surveys, risk assessments and quality checks throughout the project.
• Liaise with clients, PMs and stakeholders to ensure project success.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Installation Engineer to lead and execute complex installation projects for specialized industrial equipment in the Randburg area and surrounding regions. This role requires a deep technical understanding, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to ensure installations are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of the installation process, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery within Gauteng .

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute complex installation projects from inception to completion.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to installation teams on-site.
• Develop detailed installation plans, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Ensure all installations are performed in strict accordance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and quality control checks throughout the installation process.
• Liaise effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during installation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant field) or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive experience in managing and executing industrial equipment installation projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems relevant to industrial installations.
• Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience supervising technical teams in Randburg .
