Job summary

Satāya is seeking a Senior Technical Lead in Cape Town to own and evolve the support and infrastructure across client environments. You will set standards, handle complex escalations, and guide a team of six engineers in day-to-day operations.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and security, with strategic input on architecture and roadmap decisions alongside the CEO.

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant IT certifications are required.
• Extensive experience in managed services or IT infrastructure.
• Hands-on with Microsoft 365 and Azure security and administration.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor engineers and manage escalations.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the standard technology stack for client environments across networking, security, cloud and endpoints.
• Partner with the CEO on design decisions and major infrastructure changes.
• Maintain an infrastructure roadmap for each client with risks and next steps.
• Lead and coach a six-engineer team, manage escalations and ensure SLA adherence.
