We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join Scytale’s R&D team. Scytale is a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup transforming cybersecurity compliance for businesses worldwide. Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure to support Scytale’s platform used by SaaS companies worldwide.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in a SaaS company.
• Cloud Expertise: 5+ years with AWS services (EKS, EC2, SQS, SNS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM).
• Kubernetes & Docker: Advanced experience in managing containerized environments.
• CI/CD Proficiency: 2+ years building and maintaining pipelines; GitHub Actions and ArgoCD familiarity is a plus.
• IaC Knowledge: 2+ years with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, especially Terraform.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Shell Script and Python.
• Problem Solver: Ability to architect and build scalable, maintainable cloud infrastructure for SaaS apps.
• Team Player: Strong communication, self-driven, collaborative in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Observability: 2+ years with Prometheus, Grafana, or open telemetry solutions.

Bonus Points

• Experience maintaining Airflow and Spark infrastructure in Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with compliance and auditing requirements for cloud infrastructure.

• Ensure Resilience: Lead disaster recovery planning, implement robust backups, and enhance reliability.
• Database Administration: Manage and optimize Snowflake and MongoDB databases, ensuring performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
