Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, CS or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of information security experience, consulting experience a strong advantage.
• Broad knowledge of cybersecurity domains including network security, cloud security, application security, and data privacy.
• Experience with security assessment methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within the Gauteng region for client engagements.
• CISSP, CISA, or CEH certifications are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive information security assessments and risk analyses for clients.
• Develop tailored security strategies, policies, and procedures for diverse business needs.
• Advise clients on best practices for network security, data protection, and incident response.
• Assist clients in achieving compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., POPIA, GDPR).
• Support the implementation of security solutions, including firewalls, endpoint security, and access controls.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing engagements.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to client stakeholders.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
• Collaborate with client IT teams and internal consultants.
