Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems for new and existing equipment.
• Develop and implement SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) solutions for plant-wide monitoring and control.
• Integrate robotics and automated machinery into production lines to improve efficiency and safety.
• Perform root cause analysis of automation system failures and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including P&IDs, control narratives, and user manuals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, engineering) to define automation requirements and implement solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in automation technology and recommend upgrades or new systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all automation projects.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel.
• Manage automation project budgets and timelines effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial automation engineering, with a focus on manufacturing environments.
• Strong proficiency in programming multiple PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Mitsubishi).
• Experience with SCADA system configuration and development (e.g., WinCC, Ignition, Wonderware).
• Knowledge of industrial networks (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus).
• Experience with industrial robot programming and integration.
• Solid understanding of process control principles and instrumentation.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Project management experience is a plus.
