About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Hygiene Manager to oversee and implement comprehensive sanitation strategies for various facilities in and around Johannesburg . This pivotal role ensures compliance with health and safety regulations, drives best practices in cleaning protocols, and manages a team of hygiene staff. You will be instrumental in maintaining a pristine and safe environment, contributing directly to the operational excellence and public perception of the facilities managed by our client. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to blend on-site leadership with strategic planning from a remote setting, ensuring optimal management of hygiene operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor company-wide hygiene policies and procedures to meet or exceed industry standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with sanitation protocols and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage and train the hygiene team, including scheduling, performance evaluation, and ensuring proper use of equipment and chemicals.
• Investigate and resolve hygiene-related complaints or incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.
