SUMMARY
Bilnor Staffing Solution's client in the mining sector is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join their team in Kempton Park, Gauteng.
The Senior HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in managing and executing core HR functions within a dynamic and industrial environment. This role requires a seasoned HR professional with strong experience in handling Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Employment Equity (EE), Skills Development, and BBBEE compliance. The ideal candidate will support strategic HR initiatives while ensuring operational excellence and legal compliance across all HR activities.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities :
HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with labour legislation, company policies, and procedures.
- Handle Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) related to HR processes and drive corrective actions.
Employment Equity (EE)
- Coordinate and implement EE plans and reporting in line with legislative requirements.
- Facilitate EE committee meetings and ensure stakeholder engagement.
- Monitor progress against EE targets and advise management accordingly.
Skills Development
- Develop and manage the annual Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR).
- Liaise with training providers and SETAs to ensure effective skills development initiatives.
- Track and report on training interventions and ROI.
- Liaise with the training centre on the apprentice rotation and ensure compliance within the workshop.
BBBEE Compliance
- Support the implementation and tracking of BBBEE strategies across HR pillars.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for BBBEE audits.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve BBBEE scorecard performance.
KPI & HR Reporting
- Compile and submit monthly HR KPIs to relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and communicate monthly HR reports to Directors, highlighting key trends, risks, and achievements.
- Ensure data accuracy and timely reporting across all HR metrics.
Talent Management
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Support performance management processes and succession planning.
- Contribute to employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years HR generalist experience, preferably in a heavy industrial or environment.
- Proven experience in EE, Skills Development, BBBEE, and NCR handling.
- Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and HR best practices.
- Experience working with SETAs and EE / BBBEE auditors is advantageous.
