Placements24 in Vereeniging seeks an experienced High-Rise Building Maintenance & Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs across multi-story properties. You will lead teams, schedule tasks, ensure safety, and maintain building systems while delivering exceptional tenant service.

The role requires at least 5 years in facilities management with high-rise experience, strong knowledge of HVAC/electrical/plumbing, and proficiency in MS Office and building management

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in building maintenance or facilities management, with high-rise experience.
• Proven expertise in large building cleaning operations and specialized techniques.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Experience with working at heights and safety protocols.
• Leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and building management software.
• Valid driver's license.
• Relevant certifications in building maintenance or facilities management are a plus.
• Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise teams responsible for cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs in high-rise buildings.
• Develop and implement detailed cleaning schedules for common areas and facilities.
• Oversee facade cleaning, window washing at heights, and deep cleaning.
• Coordinate routine building maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical checks.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building codes.
• Inspect buildings and grounds to identify maintenance needs and hazards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Train staff on equipment use, safety, and client service standards.
• Respond to tenant inquiries and maintenance requests with timely resolution.
• Liaise with external contractors as needed.
