Job description

As a Senior Hardware Engineer, youll take the lead in designing, developing, and integrating test systems used in complex defence and avionics applications.

Youll work on high-level architectural designs, coordinate procurement and assembly activities, and ensure the seamless integration, testing, and qualification of hardware systems. This hands‑on role combines leadership, design, and troubleshooting responsibilities ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑moving, multidisciplinary environment.

Job Experience & Skills Required

• BEng Degree (Electronics) or equivalent
• 10+ years experience in test system development and electronic circuit design
• 5+ years experience in test equipment and unit test integration
• Strong knowledge of National Instruments and other test equipment (including MW and RF systems)
• Experience in schematic capture, PCB layout, and C# development (advantageous)
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex hardware projects
• Strong analytical, fault‑finding, and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
