Qualifications

• Professionally qualified (CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a group accounting / financial reporting role.
• Strong working knowledge of Sage Evolution (essential).
• Proven experience dealing with SARS queries and submissions.
• Thorough understanding of South African financial reporting standards, tax legislation, and VAT.

Responsibilities

• Compile and prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Manage and balance cashbooks across all company accounts.
• Prepare journals and other accounting entries.
• Handle all SARS queries, submissions, and correspondence.
• Support group consolidation, inter-company transactions, and financial compliance.
