Introduction

a Well established Group is looking for a suitable person to employ in the capacity of Senior Resource Geologist. The successful person will have a Professional SACNASP registration with a Degree in Geology.

The Company is looking for an expert in Mineral Resource Estimation and Geological Modelling.

Years+ experience including 2 years in Production Geology and 2 years in Exploration.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects, plan scopes and schedules, and assist with proposals.
• Build client relationships and identify business opportunities.
• Complete geological modelling.
• Oversee database management, validation, exploratory data analysis and QA / QC.
• Apply statistics, geostatistics, domaining and develop robust block models.
• Produce, validate, interpret and reconcile Mineral Resource estimates.
• Act as Competent Person for sign‑off where experience permits.
• Coach and train junior staff in Resource estimation.
• Support exploration planning and management as required by the pipeline.
• Maintain rigorous internal administration.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Degree in Geology.
• SACNASP Registration.
• Experienced in Datamine, Leapfrog Geo, Leapfrog Edge and Surpac.
• Expert in Mineral Resource Estimation and Geological Modelling.
• 10 years experience including 2 years Production Geology and 2 years in Exploration.
