SUMMARY

Pienaarsriver Area – Limpopo : This is asmall private game farm. Around 900 Hectares, tent camp, lodge and family home.

POSITION INFO : MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ Years farm management experience
• Must have excellent animal knowledge and excellent fire prevention skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong proven management skills
• Computer literate
• Valid driver’s license
• Mechanically and maintenance orientated
• Must be pro‑active and be hands on at all times.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

• Ensuring proper management of game farm, looking after all animals, ensuring regular vet visits.
• Fire prevention, maintenance of fences and premises, managing the lodge and tent camps as well as planned hiking routes for outside guests. Managing the main private house when the family visits – ensuring there are supplies, clean bedding, housekeeping is done for family’s visits.
• Catering family events (3 – 5 birthday parties in a year at main house) – usually spit or braai managed by the farm manager couple.
• Game drives for commercial and private guests.
• Upkeep of buildings, ensuring implements and vehicles are in good order, arranging services through the admin office.
• Opportunity to grow veggies, start a small business to generate more income for the farm,
